Recordad traer mañana un bote de cristal vacio y un bote de cola para plastica.
Tambien quien vaya a ir a las excusiones y todavia no halla traid el dinero que lo traiga :)

Cow Parade by Ángela

                                                    COW PARADE 

The  Cow Parade  is an internacional exhibition that has been shown in big cities all around the world.

The concept is simple: local artists decorate sculptures of fiberglass with cow's shapes.
The concept of Cow Parade was created in Zurich, Suiza, in 1998, for the artistic director Walter Knapp.

Also, it is a fun and original form of bring art closer to the people.
Every cow weighs over 60 kilos so that together with the basis on which are screwed can reach over 400 kg.

You will thing, why cows?
Cows have been essential for the man since the beginning of humanity. The bovines have served to feed and help the man for the task of tillage.
If you want to see, you don't need to go too far. here, in Madrid there are over 105 cows.

Cow Parade is the largest and most successful public art event in the World. CowParade events have been staged in 76 cities worldwide since 1999 includind Chicago , New York City ,London , Tokio  ,  brussels  , dublin  , prague , stockholm , mexico city , sao paulo , buenos aires , boston , paris , milan , istanbul , taipei , rio , north carolina , hong kong , hartford , detroit and cartagena .

Why cows? This is a popular question. Simply, the cow is a universally beloved animal. The cow represents different things to different people around the world-she’s sacred, she’s historical, she connects us to our past-but the common feeling is one of affection. There is something magical about the cow that transcends throughout the world. She simply makes everyone smile.
